Carol went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 11, 2024 at the age of 82.
Carol was born in New York, New York on August 29, 1941 to the late Joseph Cerzosie and Flora De Hann Cerzosie. She was the youngest of 5 children. She attended Grace A. Dodge High School in the Bronx, New York. After marrying her late husband, Deacon Al McHugh, she moved to Mobile, Alabama. Having moved and lived in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi and Texas, she resided in Georgia for many years and called the state her home. Carol was an active member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Woodstock, GA and a member of the Columbiettes, an Auxiliary group of the Knights of Columbus. She volunteered for numerous activities for the church for many years. She also was an active resident at The Arbors, in Canton, GA.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Dawn Kisella (Gary) and her grand-daughter, MacKenzie Kisella; her son, John McHugh (Sherri) and grandsons, Christopher McHugh (Laura) and Andrew McHugh; her daughter Tanya Robson (Matt); her grand-daughter, Peyton Robson and grandson, Parker Robson; and 4 great-grand-daughters.
A funeral mass at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock, GA and her internment at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw, GA will be held at a date to be determined.
